Sand Dollar Kayak Expeditions was ranked in the top 50 adventures to do in Africa by Jacques Mares in his book, Great African Adventure: A Guide to the Mother Continent’s Ultimate Outdoor Adventures. 2008 Struik Publishers.
Sand Dollar Kayak Expeditions sponsored the first Kenyan seakayak marathon, donating all its kayak equipment and offering its consulting services. November 2008. The successful event featured in several local and international newspapers.
Brent wrote a story on kayaking in the book, In Search of the Strange, 2004 Struik Publishers, as well as several articles in magazines and newspapers. Currently Brent is completing a second kayak expedition book.
